Time to stand

Attacks on humanity around the world
Violence out of control, death toll rising
Innocent people being slaughtered
Around the world, eyes are weeping
Trying to find sense, from madness
Chaotic minds projecting into reality
Senseless horrors filling hearts
Provoking fears within, mistrusting start
Disgraceful actions, everyone loses
Destroying all sense of security, vanished
Hearts filling with grief, shocked felt
Lives stolen from thieves, taken by force
Humanity has taken a massive attack
Weakening in such a state of submission
Vile, disgusting taste down the throat
Swallowing bitterness, subduing anger
Heart exploding upon witnessing such evil
Looking into the eyes of the victims
Fear combined with relief of being alive
Attacking the innocent, unarmed
Without a chance to defend themselves
Gunned down, unprepared to protect
Such cowards with guns and bombs
Unforgiving acts of terror, false illusion
Justice shall strike, all those involved
Committing such savage, barbaric acts

Reading newsfeed on my screen
Popping up one after the next
Saddens my heart, still in disbelief
Courage from survivors, speaking up
Telling their storie on what they saw 
Tragedy, nightful of fearing of death
Sympathy and thoughts of lives lost
Incredible stories of that night, lovely
Inspiration stirs within, awoken forever
Incredible story of compassion
Strangers risking their own lives
Protecting other strangers from death
Opening their doors, letting them in
Strangers worrying about strangers
Making sure others are okay, worrying
About their well brings, before their own
Such display of selflessness, applauding
Reminder of the strength left in human
Reminder of the compassion
Reminder of the kindness
Reminder of the caring
Reminder of the love, we are capable
That we possess from within, our potentials
Igniting emotions within, really powerful
It’s time to stand as one
As human beings
Uniting around the world
Standing up for a common goal
To live without fear
To live without intimidation
A world with choices,
A world which respect each other
A world where each life, holds meaning
Each voice valued, safe to express
Equality, morals, love thy neightbour
Standing together as a human race
