Letting go of the past

Once upon a time,
During the endless battles,
Amongst the horrible scenes,
Amidst the tragedy,
Raining down shooting stars.

Wonder upon the miracles,
Holding onto which has passed,
Fruitlessly holding on,
To a world that ceased to exist,
Letting go, never is easy,
Trying and trying,
Unable to completely let go.

Returning back for revenge,
Blackening the new world,
Created from fantasy,
Masked with strong illusions,
Entering uninvited,
Lingering around like a shadow,
Inescapable dramas,
Untold casualties fell victims,
Upon a war, which wasn’t their own.
