Forgotten World

Days are dark
Nights are bright
Hidden amongst the shadows
Kept harmful influences away
Lurking behind the covers
Unseen, yet safe
Terrified showing myself
Petrified standing in the light
Revealing all my shame and regrets
Ashamed to even show my face
Humiliations, ultimate disgraced
By what divine right
Shall I take the easy way out
Burden of life I must carry
Isn’t fair making my love ones pay
Mistakes I’ve made, are my own
Consequences are mine to handle
Responsibilities I must claimed
Easy way, cowards path
Sweet relief, selfish ways
Fate has fallen down to me
Pain and suffering I must endure
Afterall, I created the chaos
There’s no easy way out
Only facing everything head on
Road to redemption is long
Life time making amends
Righting the wrongs
Making up for my own mistakes
Difficult journey lays ahead
Anything which is important
Never comes easy in life.
