Till My Last Breath
Lights fading
Darkness surrounds
Slowly creeps over
Every part of my body
Claiming me for themselves
Resisting as always
Holding onto hope
Tightly as I can
As the lights dims
My grip tightens
Darkness shall attempt
Searching for weaknesses
Breaking through defenses
Waiting for such a chance
As light fades further
Hope diminishes more and more
Struggles
Finding reasons to go on
Becoming less and less
Still I try my best
Overcoming suffocation
By my own demised
Till my last dying breath
Giving everything I have
No matter if it’s a losing battle
I won’t know unless I try
Being stubborn has good points
Refusing to go silently into the night
