Nightmares, plagued by fears
Darken thoughts lingers all around
Greatest of fears revealed
Returning to a place called home
Discovering there’s nothing left
A life once familiar; unrecognizable
Failure to meet expectations
Mine above all else
After years of preparations
Only to be caught unprepared
Unfamiliarity, winning in the end
At least within these walls
Knowing my position in society
Out there; awaits another world
Amongst many watchful eyes
Eagerly waiting the moment I fall

Sometimes there’s a better life, away from what you deemed as your home, and, it’s quite, difficult, to detach yourself, from what was once, familiar to you, but, you must, separate from it.
