Flame from a candle
Burning, kept in existence
Flickering motions
Fading in and out
Trying as it may
In staying alit

As long as there’s breath
As long as there’s life
Hope remains
Discounted before the end
Fragile as it may appear
Future is unknown
Hope remains till the end

Extinguished flames
Given up in trying
Once its gone
There’s never coming back
Precious life, gifted
As long as there’s breath
Hope shall never fade

Life, neither fantasy or illusions
Reality; dreams come true
Living in make believe
Whose to say otherwise
Hope; fragile as the flame
Against the touches
From the slightest winds.
